An unusual review because they haven’t done work for me, but they gave me an honest (free) estimate.
I’d noticed traces of a small leak on an upstairs ceiling. My regular roofing guys were unresponsive, so I arranged for a couple of estimates. One guy came yesterday, looked at the area of the leak inside the house, looked at the outside of the house, did not get on the roof, and declined my invitation to climb into the attic to look for evidence of a leak. Estimated repairs: $2.5–3.5K, is going to write it up.
Brax people arrived this morning, looked at the leak area in the house, went up on the roof, and asked to climb into the attic. Took measurements and pics. Said they think the leak is from pipes to the upstairs AC, no problems with old slate. Very polite, professional, well-spoken. Declined a fee for their diagnosis.
Will have AC company deal with leak.
Next time I need roof work done, I will call Brax.
