I had two skylights replaced. Very detailed inspection which verified one skylight that needed to be replaced was leaking. Work done quickly at a reasonable price. The skylights have solar power blinds which in my area is eligible for a Federal Tax Energy Credit of 30% up to $600.

Had (2) leaking skylights. After getting (4) quotes, I decided that BRAX provided the best details on the work to be completed estimate and cost quote based on work to be completed for replacement of the (2) porch roof skylights. Pictures were provided showing the entire process from beginning to end. The outcome showed their excellent quality of work and professional experience. I felt the completed work was better than the original skylight installs and very happy with the results. Based on my experience with BRAX and their personnel, I would definitely recommend them for skylight replacement jobs.

Brax Roofing recently replaced two skylights on the roof of our enclosed porch that were leaking. They did a thorough inspection of the skylights, shingles, and underlayment and provided us with before and after pictures, keeping us informed during each step of the process and addressing all of our questions and concerns. They determined the entire porch roof did not need to be re-shingled and only replaced what was necessary around the skylights, which was a substantial savings. Brax is an Owens Corning Roofing Platinum Preferred Contractor, and it is easy to see why they have that distinction. Every person we dealt with was professional, courteous, and skilled in their craft. We are grateful for the top notch service and completed project.

Brax Roofing was the right choice for our project. We got three estimates from different contractors, and they were not the cheapest, but the service and attention to detail was unmatched. We even had a miscommunication about what happens to the inside of the skylights they changed since they have to raise them, and they were willing to pay part of the cost for refinishing the drywall. My only criticism would be related to another set of skylights that they replaced. They left the undulation drywall protector untouched because it was outside of their scope, but we would have liked to fix it before the replacement took place or at least have the awareness of knowing that it was going to be like that.

Mr. Cheadle came out and explained what they could do and gave me quotes. The job was completed as described. No rain yet, but I feel confident my problem is resolved.

Had attic ventilation issues, so I contacted BRAX. I was very impressed by Marvin (their Product Specialist), who exhibited solid knowledge of the problem and worked with me to explore different solutions. He was sincere in his assessment and did not push any repairs on to me. He patiently explained how cathedral ceilings and mansards worked with respect to ventilation, and I felt this was a roofing company that wasn't out there to just fix something and move on. He got back to me after discussing the solutions with his technical team, and each interaction with him was a pleasure. Another fantastic experience with Brax! Two, actually. This review is for my snow guards and above-and-beyond follow-up service. Brax installed my Snowbird snow guards two weeks before the big 2026 DMV ice storm. As before, lots of great detailed planning from Chris at the sales team and the installers. Then I referred them to my neighbor and they did theirs too. While completing that install between snowstorms, they inspected my roof, reattached a fallen snow guard taken out by the big ice storm, and they replaced a piece of siding that cracked in the severe cold all in the same afternoon using a piece from the cache of spares I keep in my attic. Brax did an A+ roof and siding install for me about a year and a half ago. I was impressed that their techs jumped right into it after a big job across the street and had it all done so quickly, maybe inside of 2 hours, even going into my attic to get that spare siding piece for me. Those guys are real pros and they take pride in their work! I’m super pleased that they have proven beyond any doubt they will stand behind their work! I received a follow-up courtesy call from Mr. Daniel a few days later and he explained all of the details of their work. Thanks to everyone there, I really appreciated it.

In many years of being on a HOA condo board & working in renovations, I have dealt with my fair share of unprofessional and frustrating vendors: this was the OPPOSITE, I could not be more impressed or happy to work with Marvin/BRAX. From beginning to end, our experience with BRAX could not have been better, Marvin helped make everything that could have been a dreadful process as easy as can be. They came out to provide an estimate the day after I called. When we got our initial estimate/proposal from Marvin, he was the only one of three other roofing companies who did not immediately try to upsell us on a new roof. We might need one a little bit down the road, but he laid out our options very clearly and did an amazing job of providing a sound alternative to a roof replacement while thoroughly patching the leaking TPO. He was also extremely patient with us/our HOA while we dealt with a few delays during the holidays. The second we had any questions or needed any additional details (keeping in mind that the proposal and email communications were comprehensive, clear and professional and there was not anything left out or unaddressed) was needed, he answered within minutes. The final proposal was extremely well-priced, our HOA was more than pleased to receive such a reasonable quote based on the professionalism Marvin and everyone we spoke with from BRAX. We are a small HOA - all communication was detailed and beyond expectations. Everything was easier since Marvin made the process so clear from the get-go. Once the team to do the work was assembled, Marvin was thoughtful enough to make it happen within days - only 3 days before the snow and ice arrived in DC (and hasn’t left since). They were prompt, hard-working, self-sufficient, had clear directives of what was to be done and incredibly detail-oriented in their work. They were amazing - working quickly to get this job done (and done right) when the temperatures that day were only 23°F - 33°F - very windy and cold. I cannot emphasize how strongly I recommend this company for any home or community roofing needs, they made everything beyond pleasant and easy. Marvin/BRAX will be our go-to with any roofing needs and we are grateful for their amazing work.

We had storm damage that required a relatively small repair to the flashing. Found it difficult to find a highly rated roofing company willing to provide an estimate and do the work for a reasonable price. Fortunately, ultimately discovered BRAX, who advised they could take a look within a day. Marvin came to do the consultation, and from that point on I knew we would be in good hands. He was clearly knowledgeable, professional, and just an exceedingly warm individual who exuded integrity. The estimate was reasonable, and the crew who arrived clearly knew their business. I was also thoroughly impressed with the level of communication between the office and the crews on site, which indicated a business where internal communication was excellent. This is a well-oiled machine where all the players know their roles and do them well. Have worked with other companies where this was not the case, and the customer generally pays the price. So, not a single criticism and extremely grateful to BRAX for solving this problem and ultimately securing themselves a place as our first go to for all roofing needs in the future! We decided to meet with three different companies to compare prices and choose the best option. Jacob Wheeler was the only one who actually went up to my attic to inspect the roof from the inside. He explained in detail what was wrong with the roof, both internally and externally. I was especially impressed with the detailed estimate he provided. It included a full breakdown of materials, timelines, warranty, and other project details across several pages. The other two companies simply sent a price quote with a brief list of materials they use. The project started on time, exactly as promised. Throughout the process, they provided around 30 photos clearly showing what was done and in what sequence. Overall, excellent service and very professional work.
